To do this through the unit’s USB 2.0 input, though, you’ll need to download driver software specific to the DAC 8. It’s a simple enough process and relatively painless as far as these things go. After the device-specific driver is installed, Windows 10 will select that driver instead of the standard USB audio 2.0 driver when you first connect the device.
